We know many of you are interested in Holistic Health care for yourselves, but how do you find help for your pets which is also holistic? Here is an example of someone who is trained as a yoga teacher, – she teaches seniors, – and she uses her compassion, intuition and yoga skills to work with dogs and obedience training. She has recently been volunteering at an animal rescue center and saving some pets that have been living in horrific conditions.
I am quite sure that her experience with pets helps the seniors and her experience with the seniors and yoga transfers to the pets. No wonder she’s so popular! We’re looking forward to some tips fom Flavia on Holistic pet care in the near future – and specifically holistic dog training.
If you love your dogs and haven’t found a holistic dog trainer keep looking. They are definitely out there. And if you’re lucky enough to live in the San Fernando Valley , North of Los Angeles click on the next page

Flavia Potenza first began agility training with Contact Point Agility (CPA) in 1998 with her shepherd, Homer, who earned his AD title (USDAA) in 2000 and then retired. In addition to CPA, she has also trained with Kristy Netzer’s Happy Dog Agility and with Janine Pierce’s J9’s K9s for obedience. Flavia grew up with dogs, cats, horses and nature and was rarely without at least one of these animals in her life, usually several. When Homer arrived, Contact Point was the perfect opportunity to bond with him, apply what she already knew and to learn more. On the recommendation of Kristy Netzer, she currently shows two Keeshonden in AKC agility trials who will soon earn their AX and AXJ titles. Through her business, Dogley DoRight Dog Training, she conducts in-home training sessions where she addresses behavior and basic obedience challenges through training the dog and coaching people to successfully effect and maintain a healthy balance in their relationship.
