Why should I be interested in funny movies?

Feel Good Factor:_

Some of you already know that I’m collecting funny movies. Why? Because I often recommend that patients go home and watch a funny movie after a session. But it can be hard to find a good movie where you laugh a lot and feel open and expanded at the end, instead of finding out too late that the movie’s a downer and it’s left you with a sour taste in your mouth.

If you’re not feeling too good you can’t afford to waste your time and valuable healing energy in watching anything that doesn’t make you smile and feel uplifted. When my mother was ill back in the early nineties she loved watching the old Lucy Shows on television. She would laugh and laugh til tears rolled down her face. We all felt good to see her laugh. And do you know what? She had hardly any pain until the day she died, – which was a miracle given that she had liver and pancreatic cancer. She was at home with us and we gave her some Chinese anti pain herbs a few days before she died and then some Western pain killers a few hours before she died. That was it. ….She died happy.

So will you help us?
